| Summary, etc. | RésuméLe point de départ de cette enquête est le constat d’une sous-utilisation des données de la littérature lors du développement de projets. L’objectif est de réaliser un état des lieux préliminaire de l’utilisation des données de la littérature, par le biais d’entretiens semi-directifs auprès d’intervenants actifs en éducation nutritionnelle chez les jeunes, en Communauté française de Belgique. Cette étude a permis d’identifier les données utilisées par les répondants ainsi que différents éléments favorisant ou freinant cette utilisation. Par ailleurs, il apparaît que chez les intervenants rencontrés, les besoins ressentis en matière de données ne concernent pas tant des données spécifiques à une thématique que des données à caractère local. Des lacunes dans la formation des intervenants de terrain ont également pu être mises en évidence. Celles-ci se manifestent au niveau de la définition des besoins en matière de données et au niveau de l’interprétation de celles-ci. |

| Summary, etc. | The study is based on the observation that data from the existing literature is underutilised during the project development stage. The objective is to carry out a study to track the current status quo on how the knowledge from the literature is used and incorporated. Semi-structured interviews of professionals working in nutritional education of youth were conducted to assess this aspect in the French-speaking community in Belgium. The study permitted the identification of which types of data are being used by the respondents, as well as which elements can have a positive or negative impact their incorporation. Moreover, it was observed that most of the field workers who participated in the study would prefer to have access to more data relevant to their local context than data on a specific topic. The study highlighted the need for more training to be provided to the nutritional educators working in the field, in particular in the areas of information needs and their interpretation of these needs in light of the data available. |
