Summary, etc. | À travers la présentation et l’analyse d’un dispositif d’enseignement à distance en 1re année de licence Économie-Gestion, nous illustrons l’importance de la prise en compte pour la recherche en pédagogie universitaire, de celle en sciences du langage ayant pour objet d’étude les pratiques des étudiants en dehors de l’université. Les façons dont les étudiants apprennent dans la matière hors de l’institution ne doivent pas être perçues comme des distracteurs ou des freins à un enseignement pertinent, mais bien comme des leviers de motivation. Les premiers résultats issus de questionnaires, entretiens et traces écrites sur la plateforme d’apprentissage Moodle, montrent que le recours aux ressources familières aux étudiants donne lieu à des tâches perçues comme pertinentes, possibles à accomplir et contrôlables. Cette familiarité prônée peut placer l’étudiant en position de connaisseur ou apprenant expert face à ses pairs et encourager une réflexion critique sur son futur domaine professionnel. |

Summary, etc. | Through the presentation and analysis of an online course in the first year of an Economics and Management degree, we are illustrating the importance of considering research in language science on students out-of-class practices, for research in higher education pedagogy. The ways in which students learn in the subject extra-institutionally should not be seen as distractors or obstacles to relevant teaching, but rather motivators. Our initial findings from questionnaires, interviews and written messages on the learning management system Moodle, suggest that the use of resources which are familiar to students results in tasks perceived as relevant, possible to accomplish and controllable. This valued familiarity can allow students to take on the role of connoisseur or expert learner towards their peers and encourage critical reflection on their future professional field. |
