Summary, etc. | Les recherches en didactique des sciences et des technologies, s’accordent aujourd’hui sur l’importance du rôle de l’enseignant comme médiateur des savoirs en situation d’enseignement-apprentissage des sciences fondé sur l’investigation. Au travers d’une étude de cas, nous reconstruisons les dynamiques intentionnelles d’un professeur des écoles expérimenté dans cette classe de situations, dans le but de mieux comprendre comment s’organise son activité médiatrice. Notre méthodologie repose sur une approche phénoménologique du didactique et nos résultats montrent que l’enseignant, bien qu’expérimenté, se trouve en difficulté pour adapter son type de médiation à différentes phases de la séance alors même qu’il prend en compte des indices pertinents pour le faire. En outre, nous constatons qu’il ne parvient pas seul à prendre conscience de cette difficulté professionnelle. |

Summary, etc. | Nowadays, research in science teaching and learning underline the importance of the teacher’s role as a mediator of knowledge in investigation-based science education. Through a case study, we reconstruct the intentional dynamics of an experienced school teacher in this class of situations. The aim is to better understand how organized is the teacher mediating activity. Our methodology is based on a phenomenological approach to didactics. Our results indicate that the teacher, even though experienced, shows difficulty to adapt his way of mediating to different phases of the session. However he takes into account relevant cues to do so. Moreover, we note that the teacher does not manage to become aware of this professional difficulty. |
