| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’auteure analyse la contribution d’un genre très codifié de divertissement citadin, la revue d’actualités, comme production d’un imaginaire local parisien au tournant du xixe et du xxe siècles. Elle rend compte d’une offre identitaire en mouvement qui, en fonction des périodes, entre ou non en cohérence avec celles produites dans d’autres sphères de la vie locale. Paris est d’abord mis en scène comme communauté politique intégrative : l’imaginaire revuesque contribue alors au renforcement et à la diffusion des valeurs exaltées depuis l’Hôtel de Ville. La figure centrale du citoyen disparaît toutefois progressivement derrière celle de l’habitant d’une communauté parisienne de plus en plus définie à partir de critères sociaux, culturels et comportementaux dont les revues seraient les productrices autonomes. |

| Summary, etc. | The author analyses the contribution of a very coded kind of urban entertainment, the news revue, as a production of a local Parisian imaginary at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It gives an account of a moving identity supply which, according to periods of time, is in coherence with the ones produced in other spheres of local life. Paris is first staged as an integrative political community : the revuesque imaginary contributes to the reinforcement and the diffusion of the values glorified by the City Townhall. However, the central figure of the citizen gradually disappears behind the one of the inhabitant of a Parisian community more and more defined by social, cultural and behaviourist criteria, of which reviews would be autonomous producers. |
