Dans ce contexte d’incertitude, la prévalence de la fibromyalgie est estimée à plus de 1 % de la population. Cet article s’appuie sur des données qualitatives pour explorer en termes sociologiques les relations entre la dynamique des débats publics sur la fibromyalgie, récurrents depuis les années quatre-vingt, et l’expérience des patients. La mise en relation de ces deux types d’éléments, collectifs et individuels, éclaire les difficultés de prise en charge. |
