Summary, etc. | RésuméLa présente recherche a évalué les impacts d’un dispositif de prévention du tabagisme selon l’approche par les pairs, chez les lycéens qui en sont les bénéficiaires et chez les professionnels des différents secteurs impliqués dans le dispositif et dans l’environnement. Cette démarche d’évaluation a mobilisé des concepts issus de la sociologie des organisations. L’enquête s’est appuyée sur des entretiens semi-directifs réalisés auprès d’acteurs impliqués dans le projet de prévention. Elle a permis de révéler les effets perturbateurs des stratégies de pouvoir, les changements positifs dans les rapports des lycéens au tabagisme et leur capacité à contribuer à sa prévention, ainsi que des tranformations inattendues produites par ce dispositif sur les pratiques professionnelles des intervenants. |

Summary, etc. | This research evaluated the impact of a peer education smoking prevention program among students, the beneficiaries, and professionals from different sectors operating in the program’s environment and involved in the program. The evaluation approach drew upon concepts from the sociology of organizations. A survey was carried out using semi-structured interviews conducted with stakeholders involved in the project. The analysis of the survey’s results revealed a number of changes having taken place, such as the disturbing effects of power strategies, positive changes in students’ relationship to smoking and their ability to contribute as peers to its prevention, as well as unexpected changes generated by the program in terms of the professional practices of stakeholders. |
