| Summary, etc. | Through the discursive analysis of documents from international institutions, this article exposes adolescent pregnancy as a particular discursive object. Documents of institutions such as the World Bank or the United Nations Population Fund addressing adolescent pregnancy are based on economic theories of rational choice that encourage the internalization of a homo economicus rationality in relation to the decision of pregnancy, where unwanted pregnancy becomes a failure of the rational subject. The absence of a fundamental factor, the desire to get pregnant, in most of the documents analyzed shows the myopic approaches of the studies, and the circulation of norms and premises assuming that institutions know better the interest of adolescent women than themselves. |

| Summary, etc. | RésuméGrâce à l’analyse discursive de documents d'institutions internationales, cet article expose la grossesse adolescente comme un objet discursif particulier. Les documents d’institutions telles que la Banque mondiale ou le Fonds des Nations Unies pour la population traitant la grossesse chez les adolescentes sont basés sur des théories économistes du choix rationnel qui encouragent l’intériorisation d’une rationalité homo economicus par rapport à la décision de devenir enceinte, où la grossesse non désirée devient un échec du sujet rationnel. L’absence d’un facteur fondamental, le désir de tomber enceinte, dans la plupart des documents analysés montre l’insuffisance des approches des études, et la circulation de normes et de prémisses supposant que les institutions connaissent mieux l’intérêt des adolescentes qu’elles-mêmes. |
