| Summary, etc. | Qu’est-ce qu’une communauté politique de destin, ce qu’a cherché à produire le projet idéologique du FLN ? Le hirak, à compter de février 2019, a montré combien le drapeau était l’objet d’un dissensus entre les « marcheurs » et le « pouvoir ». L’article entend être une contribution aux réflexions sur les rapports ordinaires au politique qui constituent la trame des existences stato-nationales entre acceptations, tolérances et résistances sociales à un ordre symbolique appelé à garantir la pérennité de l’État et l’autorité de celles et ceux qui y trouvent leur intérêt. En s’attachant aux rapports vexillaires des Algérien·nes, l’article questionne surtout ce qui fait que le drapeau est plus qu’un étendard : un lien quasi-organique avec une communauté imaginée, un territoire de rattachement et des sentiments partagés que transforment les circonstances. |

| Summary, etc. | What is a political community of destiny, as the FLN ideological project intended to create? The hirak, starting in february 2019, showed how much the flag was a point of contention between demonstrators and le pouvoir. This article contribute to the understanding of ordinary politics that constitutes state-centered human existences between acceptance, tolerance and resistance to symbolic orders founding States’ authority and interests of those in positions of power. Through vexillar practices and representations of Algerians, the article intends to analyze what makes that a flag is more than a simple emblem. It is a quasi-organic manifestation of an imagined community, a territory and shared feelings that circonstances can change. |
