| Summary, etc. | De 1974 à 1981, la France de Valéry Giscard d’Estaing et la Yougoslavie de Tito mènent toutes deux des politiques extérieures indépendantes dans un contexte de luttes d’influence entre l’Ouest et l’Est. Depuis le xixe siècle, des Yougoslaves immigrent en France ; les politiques migratoires mises en place dans les années 1970 freinent la politique d’accueil française et entraînent des relations complexes entre les différentes générations de migrants. Les stéréotypes produits par la société française ignorent la diversité des identités yougoslaves et participent à une stigmatisation des migrants. |

| Summary, etc. | From 1974 to 1981, Valéry Giscard d'Estaing’s France and Tito's Yugoslavia both pursued independent foreign policies in the context of West and East power struggles. Since the nineteenth century, Yugoslavs have immigrated to France; migration policies implemented in the 1970s continue to hamper French policies toward migrants and produce complex relationships between the different generations of immigrants. Stereotypes produced by the French society disregard the diverse Yugoslav identities and contribute to the stigmatization of migrants. |
