| Summary, etc. | Par le prisme d’une sociologie de la justification (Boltanski et Thévenot, 1991), cette contribution entend révéler une manière particulière de qualifier le monde à laquelle les individus et les groupes sociaux ont recours pour faire valoir des qualités lorsqu’ils s’essaient à (re)formuler le sens de l’intérêt général. En l’occurrence, la révision participative et délibérative du Schéma d’aménagement de développement de Québec mobilise non seulement les préceptes du développement durable mais détermine encore une forme d’écologisation des normes et pratiques en matière de gestion territoriale. |

| Summary, etc. | Using tools from the sociology of justification (Boltanski and Thévenot, 1991), this study reveals a particularway of qualifying the world that individuals and social groups use to assert qualities when they try to define common good. In this case, the participatory and deliberative revision of the Quebec land use planning and development schema is not only consistent with the precepts of sustainable development but also may cause the greening of norms and practices in land use management. |
