| Summary, etc. | À partir d’une enquête ethnographique menée dans les Groupes d’intervention régionaux (GIR) de la police judiciaire, rassemblant des policiers, des gendarmes, des agents des impôts, de la douane et de l’URSSAF, l’article interroge le dépassement des frontières liées à la profession, mais aussi aux corps et grades, au profit d’une cohésion de groupe. En s’intéressant aux trajectoires et aux dispositions des agents des GIR, il s’agit de saisir les conditions de l’élaboration d’un nouveau poste valorisant. En observant le quotidien de travail, l’article montre la manière dont les agents apprennent à faire bloc face à l’extérieur en s’affirmant « tous pareils ». Les agents des GIR, en ascension sociale et professionnelle, réenchantent ainsi leur quotidien et leur parcours tout en promouvant leur unité. |

| Summary, etc. | Based on an ethnographic survey in Groupes d’intervention régionaux (GIR), marshaling police officers from different forces, tax auditors, customs officers and labor market fraud inspectors, this article analyzes the maintenance of a shared team spirit creating an identity of “social avengers.” By analyzing the trajectories and the dispositions, I explain how the agents of the GIR were attracted to join the institution and this work, before showing how they learn to stand together by conveying the idea that they are “all the same.” The members of the group, who are in a situation of social and professional rise, enchant their real life and their career path in promoting the Unit they belong to. |
