| Summary, etc. | RésuméDans ce texte nous essayons d’exposer certains aspects de la puissance concrète de la spiritualité catholique pendant l’époque des colonisations, au XVIe siècle. La confluence parmi le répertoire mythique chrétien de cette époque-là, avec ses stratégies de domination symbolique et matérielle, et le répertoire religieux africain et indigène des colonies, et autres références andines, arabes, juives, etc., est le noyau symbolique de ce que nous comprenons aujourd’hui comme la résurgence de la magie dans les systèmes sociaux et de communication, et aussi de sa « matérialité » poignante dans le processus de changement social et culturel. Il s’agit ici d’une première analyse à partir des rapports historiques et de quelques observations dans le champ de recherche au nord du Brésil. |

| Summary, etc. | In this text, we try to expose some aspects of the catholic spirituality’s concrete latency all along the colonizations time, in the XVI century. The confluence between the Christian mystic repertoire of that time, with all its symbolic and material domination strategies, and the complex religious repertoire of the Africans and Indians from the colonies, besides other references, such as the Andean, the Arabs the Jews, etc, is the symbolic core of what we understand today as the resurgence of the magic inside the social and communication systems, and also its poignant « materiality » for the social and cultural change processes. This is about a first analysis from historical rapports and some appointments from the field work in the north of Brazil. |
