| Summary, etc. | Basé sur un contrat pour l’Agence mondiale antidopage, cet article se centre sur la transformation de la politique française en matière de dopage après le scandale Festina et ses effets sur la vie des cyclistes professionnels. Nous nous centrerons tout d’abord sur l’émergence et l’évolution des politiques antidopage françaises en cyclisme. Puis l’article tentera qualitativement d’observer les effets des politiques sur les représentations des cyclistes. Cet article est basé sur 39 entretiens avec des néo-professionnels et professionnels chevronnés, ainsi que des observations ethnographiques, ceci depuis une dizaine d’années. |

| Summary, etc. | Effects of anti-doping policies in cycling on road in 2009: The case of FranceBased on a contract for WADA, this article focuses on the transformation of French public policy on doping after Festina scandal and its effects on the life of cycling professionals. We first focus on the emergence and the evolution of French public policies against doping in cycling. Then the article attempts to qualitatively observe the effects of policies on cyclists representations. The objective is to understand how the cycling culture is evolving. This article is based on 39 interviews with new and seasoned professionals, as well as ethnographic observations over a dozen years. |
