Summary, etc. | Cet article cherche à évaluer la performance des Serious Games – jeux de simulation à vocation professionnelle et pédagogique – pour l’apprentissage, en se focalisant sur le degré de transfert de l’environnement virtuel vers des situations concrètes. Dans le champ des EIAH, ces jeux s’inscrivent comme des dispositifs innovants. Leur développement historique et conceptuel est basé sur un triptyque : apprentissage/simulation/jeu. L’étude du transfert repose sur une démarche qualitative utilisant la netnographie et une enquête quantitative auprès de 537 joueurs du jeu Vacheland. Les résultats montrent des impacts sur l’attitude et le comportement déclarés des joueurs. Dans un contexte de fort développement économique du secteur des serious games, l’article souligne les difficultés du transfert des éléments appris du virtuel au concret et s’inscrit dans un agenda de recherche. |

Summary, etc. | This article aims to evaluate the efficiency of Serious Games – professional and pedagogical simulation games – as a learning tool. It focuses on the degree to which trainees apply knowledge, skills and attitudes they gain in training to their jobs or to concrete situations. An analysis of literature shows the historical and conceptual evolution of these games based on three components: learning/simulation/game. The exploratory study of the Vacheland Game relies on a qualitative approach using netnography and a quantitative approach on a sample of 537 players. In a context of strong economical growth of serious games sector, the results underscore the difficulties of transferring acquired knowledge from a virtual environment to the real world. |
