| Summary, etc. | Ce travail vise à rappeler certaines des principales réflexions de la théorie des médias de Walter Benjamin, avec une référence particulière aux intuitions du philosophe sur le rôle de la photographie et de l’art cinématographique. À partir de cette référence, l’objectif du texte est d’avancer un raisonnement sur la relation entre la médiologie et l’humanité à la lumière des changements de l’environnement numérique contemporain. L’attention est particulièrement portée sur le projet Meta présenté par Mark Zuckerberg, reconnu comme un cas emblématique du passage d’un réseau conçu comme un lieu de citoyenneté de l’obscène et de l’irrégulier à un réseau devenu une forme extrême d’institutionnalisation. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper aims to recall some of the main reflections of Walter Benjamin's media theory, with reference to the philosopher's intuitions on the role of photography and cinematographic art. The aim of the text is to argue about the relationship between mediology and humanity in the light of the changes in the contemporary digital environment. Particular attention is paid to the Meta project presented by Mark Zuckerberg, recognized as an emblematic case of the passage from a network conceived as a place of citizenship of the obscene and the irregular to a network that has become an extreme form of institutionalization. |
