520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | This article looks at the impact of globalization on the growing uncertainty of contemporary societies, reflected in the multiplication of unforeseen events, but also, and above all, in the intensification and diversification of uncertainty, leading to an accentuation of risks and their social perception, which in turn provokes an increase in insecurity and the feeling of insecurity. We defend the hypothesis that globalization—political, economic, cultural, and migratory—is leading to growing financial instability and increasingly severe economic crises, discredit of the ruling political classes and the emergence of extreme right-wing parties, cultural polarization and intercultural tensions, and an increase in migratory crises and the rejection of immigrant populations. |
