Les instances censées exercer une domination sur la santé globale, comme l’Organisation mondiale de la santé, doivent composer avec de nouveaux acteurs qui offrent de précieuses perspectives financières mais agissent aussi indépendamment des autorités régulatrices, et parfois même moins en référence aux besoins essentiels des populations que par réalisme géopolitico-économique, face au double danger d’un monde inégal et connecté. Dans ce contexte, les produits de santé fournissent une démonstration particulièrement édifiante des avantages attendus mais aussi des risques encourus par les populations du monde face au processus de mondialisation. |
