Il est abordé par ses écrivains préférés comme Zweig, Schnitzler, Hoffmann et surtout Jensen, auteur de Gradiva. Nous allons traiter l’analyse cinématographique du double avec Deleuze. Dans son ouvrage consacré au septième art, le philosophe essaie de se différencier de la doctrine freudienne surtout quand il traite les films d’Antonioni dont les thèmes majeurs sont le double, le regard, et la mélancolie. En examinant les mêmes thèmes par deux médiums différents, nous verrons la solidité de l’abord freudien de l’image. |

| Summary, etc. | The theme of the double abounds in Freud’s literary essays. It is approached through his favourite authors, Zweig, Schnitzler, Hoffmann and Jensen, the author of Gradiva . The paper focuses on Deleuze’s analysis of the motif of the double in cinema. Indeed, the philosopher tries a different approach in his study of Antonioni’s films in which the main themes are the double, the gaze and melancholia. The confrontation of the treatment of the same themes through two different media will prove the soundness of Freud’s contribution to the theory of images. |
