| Summary, etc. | Dans sa « Conférence à Genève sur le symptôme » (1975), Jacques Lacan introduit le terme « motérialisme », rendant compte de la matérialité des mots qui sont la matière de l’inconscient. Cette formulation implique la critique d’une conception abstraite de l’inconscient comme composé de représentations. Lacan souligne que « c’est dans la rencontre de ces mots avec [le] corps que quelque chose se dessine ». Mon essai situe le « motérialisme » par rapport à d’autres notions du dernier enseignement de Lacan concernant l’inconscient : l’une-bévue, lalangue, le savoir-y-faire. Concernant la psychose, est posée la question des conséquences que le « motérialisme » entraîne pour les désabonnés à l’inconscient qui ne peuvent s’appuyer sur les duperies du signifiant. Cinq exemples viendront soutenir l’élaboration de cette problématique. |

| Summary, etc. | The moterialism of the symptom in lacanian approach of psychosisIn his lecture on symptom in Geneva (1975), Lacan forged a concept “moterialism” to suggest the materiality of words (“mots”) in the unconscious. This term involves a criticism of an abstract conception of the unconscious as being full of representations. Lacan underlines that it is in this encounter of these words (“mots”) with the body that something is drawn. My essay means to situate this “moterialism” in relation with other notions of the late Lacan as to the unconscious : “lalangue”, the blunder, “the know-how-to-do”. Concerning psychosis the question is raised as to the consequences of this materialism on those whoare cut off from the unconscious and cannot rely on the deceptions of the signifier. Five cases will illustrate this question. |
