| Summary, etc. | Bafouer l’ambition maternelle qui l’enferme dans un carcan, pour l’une ; vivre le rêve deviné de sa mère, tôt disparue, pour une autre. À travers témoignages cliniques, films et littérature, nous interrogeons les avatars de l’ambition féminine à différentes époques et montrons comment les filles déjouent/rejouent les plans de leur mère pour le meilleur ou pour le pire. Nous nous appuyons notamment sur le concept du surmoi et sur la notion de « prolongement du symptôme » (Lacan). |

| Summary, etc. | While one girl scorns her mother’s ambition in which she is trapped, the other one actualizes the dream she intuited her dead mother had nurtured for her. Through various clinical cases, films and novels we mean to question the avatars of feminine ambition in different times and to show how daughters either thwart or fulfill their mother’s plans for better or for worst. To do so we rely mainly on the concept of super ego and on Lacan’s notion of ‘extension of symptom’. |
