Le rattachement de la gendarmerie au ministère de l’Intérieur et les rapprochements organisationnels et culturels des deux institutions apparaissent comme des facteurs de remise en cause de ce dualisme policier. Ses justifications et fondements n’ont pas permis d’empêcher une reconfiguration de cette police étatique bicéphale, avec une perspective de fusion police-gendarmerie, dans un contexte marqué par l’irruption de nouveaux acteurs dans le champ de la sécurité. |
