| Summary, etc. | Cet article souhaite rendre compte de la pertinence d'un changement de paradigme en addictologie en s’appuyant sur une dimension socio-éducative. Après avoir longtemps considéré l'addiction comme une maladie et l'abstinence comme seul moyen de traiter l’addiction, il semble aujourd'hui important de reconnaître certains effets d'efficience thérapeutique contrastés que ces approches induisent. À l'heure d'une reconsidération de cette philosophie d’accompagnement, déjà engagée par d'autres, il nous semble important de requestionner la place du choix dans les stratégies d’accompagnement proposées et la présence des consommations dans les parcours de vie. L’approche par la « régulation des consommations » permet justement de réintégrer le sens que les acteurs accordent à l’expérience vécue et singulière de leur(s) consommation(s). |

| Summary, etc. | This article wishes to report on the relevance of a paradigm shift in addictology based on a socio-educational dimension. After having considered addiction for a long time as a disease and abstinence as the only means of treating addiction, it now seems important to recognize certain contrasting effects of therapeutic efficacy that these approaches induce. At a time of reconsidering this philosophy of support, already engaged by others, it seems important to us to question the place of choice in the support strategies offered and the presence of consumptions in the paths of life. The “consumption regulation” approach makes it possible to reintegrate the meaning that the actors give to the lived and singular experience of their consumption(s). |
