Cependant, ce processus d’accumulation risque d’être dangereux pour la poursuite de l’investissement. L’accent est souvent mis sur l’importance des phénomènes de surproduction : l’industrie chinoise ne fonctionne souvent qu’à 50 % de ses capacités de production, ce qui finit forcément par peser sur le niveau de la productivité. Il n’en reste pas moins que cette évolution de la productivité doit surtout être analysée au regard de la théorie sur la baisse tendancielle du taux de profit présentée par Karl Marx dans le troisième livre du Capital. |

| Summary, etc. | The Limits to Growth in China The Chinese investment rate reaches a world record in 2008, exceeding 45% of the GDP. However, this very strong accumulation process may be extremely dangerous for the continuation of the national investment. Most of the time, the emphasis is put on the importance of overproduction : Chinese industry often works at only 50% of its production capacities, what threatens the productivity growth. Nevertheless, this evolution of productivity has to be considered overall by the yardstick of the theory of the falling rate of profit, introduced by Karl Marx in the third book of Das Kapital. |

Sin embargo, este proceso de acumulación corre el riesgo de tornarse peligroso para la continuidad de la inversión. El acento se pone a menudo sobre la importancia de los fenómenos de sobre-producción : la industria china funciona frecuentemente sólo al 50% de sus capacidades de producción, lo que termina pesando sobre los niveles de productividad. No es por ello menos cierto que esta evolución de la productividad debe sobre todo ser analizada a la luz de la teoría sobre la baja tendencial de las tasas de beneficio presentada por Karl Marx en el tercer libro del Capital. |
