Le concept d’hybridation permet de dégager la spécificité de la zone grise, entendue comme résultant du brouillage des normes d’emploi et de l’émergence de formes nouvelles de travail, prenant la forme d’entorses faites à la loi ou de pratiques qui s’infiltrent dans ses interstices. La profession de pilote d’hélicoptère au Brésil a été retenue, car elle s’inscrit à la fois dans un cadre de normes rigides dictées par les institutions internationales et dans des pratiques qui tentent localement de les contourner et qui révèlent les enjeux de l’accélération des mutations dues à la globalisation. |

| Summary, etc. | Norms of Employment, Hybridisation and Grey Zone among Helicopter Pilots in Brazil: The Challenges of GlobalisationThis paper analyzes the nature of the transformations of labour in a globalising world. The concept of hybridisation highlights the specificity of the grey zone, taken as the result of the blurring of the norms of employment and the emergence of new forms of labour. The grey zone relates to the infringements made to law or to practices infiltrated in chinks in the law. The helicopter pilot profession in Brazil was chosen because it is embedded in a frame of rigid norms edicted by international institutions and in practices that tend locally to by-pass them. They reveal the challenges involved in the acceleration of the transformations due to globalisation. |

| Summary, etc. | Este texto discute sobre la naturaleza de las transformaciones laborales en un mundo que se globaliza. El concepto de hibridación permite ilustrar la especificidad de la zona gris, expresión que remite al resultado del desdibujamiento de las normas de empleo y de la emergencia de nuevas formas de empleo, que aparecen como quebrantamientos a la ley o prácticas que yacen en sus intersticios. Se escogió la profesión de piloto de helicóptero en Brasil puesto que se inscribe a la vez en un marco de normas rígidas dictadas por las instituciones internacionales y dentro de prácticas que intentan evitarlas localmente y que ponen de manifiesto las implicancias de la aceleración de las mutaciones debidas a la globalización. |
