| Summary, etc. | L’objectif de nos soins est de permettre aux patients de récupérer au mieux leur indépendance. La satisfaction des besoins du patient et celle des soignants est pour nous prioritaire. C’est par un changement institutionnel que notre hôpital a relevé le défi d’une concordance entre les exigences de la profession infirmière, de la population et du contexte socio-économique. Son cadre conceptuel repose sur des théories apprises, sur l’expérience et sur une philosophie de vie personnelle.Le processus de changement est constitué des objectifs de modification des structures d’organisation, de fonctionnement, de gestion et par la préparation au changement et à sa réalisation.L’application du changement a apporté une modification dans le déroulement de la journée du patient et des horaires du personnel. L’élément important a été la création d’un document de transmission des informations sur le client.Ce document permet une connaissance individuelle et globale du patient tout en relevant le rôle propre de l’infirmière.Transmission et coordination améliorées sont nos critères de réussite, mais surtout le respect d’autrui qui reste notre préoccupation première. |

| Summary, etc. | The objective of our nursing is to allow patients to recover, as well as possible, their independance. Our priorites are the satisfaction to the patient’s needs and satisfaction for those nursing him. Our hospital, through a change in approach, has taken up the challenge of reconciling the requirements of the nursing profession, of the population, and of the socio-economic context. The conceptual framework depends on learned theory, on experience, and on a philosophy of one’s private life.The process of change consists of objectives for modification of organisational structures, of working methods and of management; and by preparing for change and the implementation of change.The application of the change has brought a modification in the patient’s day and in staff hours. The important element has been the creation of a document communicating information on the client.This document permits an individual and global knowledge of the patient, bringing out the true role of the nurse.Better communication and better coordination are our criteria for success, but above all else our first concern remains the respect of others. |
