| Summary, etc. | À travers une recherche descriptive, nous avons souhaité explorer la perception de l’opéré d’une cholécystectomie et des saignants au regard de la douleur post-opératoire dans sa dimension sociologique.La question de recherche est : Dans quelle mesure la douleur post-opératoire est-elle perçue comme un stigmate par les patients opérés d’une cholécystectomie et par les infirmières ?Le cadre de référence est construit à partir d’une approche théorique de la cholécystectomie et des notions de douleur et stigmate.Nous avons mené des entretiens auprès de dix opérés et dix infirmières.La douleur telle qu’elle a été perçue par la majorité des patients, normale et acceptable, ne semble pas un attribut discréditant. La stigmatisation apparaît dans la relation soignant/soigné. Elle contribue à perturber le flux d’interactions entre les opérés et les infirmières. Lorsque les infirmières ne répondent pas aux attentes des patients, elles ne sont plus perçues comme des « initiés » mais comme des « normaux ».L’affectivité qui intervient dans la relation soignant/soigné, semble influer dans la prise en charge de la douleur post-opératoire. |

| Summary, etc. | Through a descriptive research, we wished to investigate the perception by the patients who underwent a cholecysectomy and by the caregivers, of the postoperative pain in its sociological dimension.The question of the research is as follows : How far is the post-operative pain perceived as stigmata by the patients who underwent a cholecysectomy and by the nurses ?The reference framework is built up on the basis of a theoretical approach of cholecystectomy and of the notions of pain and stigmata.We carried out interviews with ten patients and ten nurses. The sample size does not enable a scientific use of the enquiry results.Pain, such as it is perceived by the majority of the patients, as normal and acceptable, does not seem to bring them into disrepute. Stigmatisation appears in the relation caregiver-patient. It contributes to disturbing the flow of interactions between the patients and the nurses. When the nurses do not meet the expectations of the patients, they are no longer considered as « initiate » but as « normal ».The affectivity arising in the relationship caregiver-patient, seems to have an influence in the management of post-operative pain. |
