| Summary, etc. | Le jugement clinique est une notion cruciale en vue du développement des sciences infirmières et de la formation aux soins infirmiers. Ses origines théoriques sont multiples et sa définition ne fait pas encore consensus. L’analyse de la littérature scientifique et professionnelle montre des points de vue hétérogènes et dispersés, notamment sur le rôle de l’intuition, sur ses dimensions cognitives et métacognitives, ainsi que sur sa proximité avec d’autres concepts. Entre enjeux professionnels et constructions épistémologiques, le jugement clinique est encore un concept en émergence.Pour dépasser l’obstacle et contribuer à l’effort de théorisation, nous soutiendrons que le jugement clinique doit être analysé comme un schème. Il en présente toutes les caractéristiques : diagnostic et prise d’informations nécessaires au raisonnement, processus d’élaboration de la décision rationnelle, contrôle métacognitif et évaluation de la prise de décision. Des perspectives s’ouvrent alors pour mieux comprendre l’activité infirmière.En conclusion, des recommandations pour développer le jugement clinique en formation seront présentées. |

| Summary, etc. | Clinical judgment is a critical concept for the development of nursing and nursing education. Its theoretical origins are multiple and its definition is not yet consensus. The analysis of the scientific and professional literature shows heterogeneous and dispersed points of views, notably on the role of intuition, on its cognitive and metacognitive dimensions, and on its proximity to other concepts. Between professional stakes and epistemological constructions, clinical judgment is still an emerging concept.To overcome the obstacle and contribute to the theoretical effort, we will argue that clinical judgment must be analyzed as a schema. It presents all the characteristics : diagnosis and information necessary for reasoning, rational decision-making process, metacognitive control and evaluation of decision-making. Perspectives then open to better understand the nursing activity.In conclusion, recommendations for developing clinical judgment in training will be presented. |
