| Summary, etc. | Les auteurs se proposent d’étudier les relations entre microcrédit et développement territorial, qui ont en commun de viser un développement socio-économique basé sur les efforts et les ressources propres des bénéficiaires. De nombreuses études indiquent que le microcrédit, s’il a une utilité, est loin de constituer un outil miracle en matière de lutte contre la pauvreté et de développement. Qu’en est-il lorsqu’il est mis en œuvre dans des territoires particulièrement défavorisés ? Trois projets menés au Maroc de 2006 à 2011, et fondés en partie sur ce mode de financement, offrent l’opportunité d’étudier la pertinence de cet outil, ainsi que l’influence de la petite taille du territoire concerné. Il ressort de ces expériences que le microcrédit n’était pas la formule idéale pour toucher des populations très pauvres, au revenu irrégulier. La petite taille du territoire cible a constitué quant à elle, une contrainte supplémentaire pour la réussite du programme de microcrédit. |

| Summary, etc. | Microcredit and small-scale territorial development – Analysis from empirical case studies in Larache and Tangier (Morocco) Authors of this article intend to study the relationships between microcredit and territorial development. Indeed, both are about triggering socioeconomic development based on the work and inner resources of the beneficiary population. A number of studies show that microcredit may be useful, but it is not at all a panacea to fight against poverty or in terms of socioeconomic development. How useful can it be when implemented in highly disadvantaged territories? Three projects carried in Morocco during the 2006-2011-period and partially based on this kind of financing, offer the opportunity to study the suitability of this tool, and at the same time the influence of the small size of the area. In these experiences, microcredit appeared not to be the ideal way to help very poor populations, with irregular incomes. Besides, the small size of the target territory is a further complication for the success of a microcredit program. |

En efecto, ambos comparten el objetivo de contribuir al desarrollo socio-económico basado en los esfuerzos y los recursos propios de los beneficiarios. Muchos estudios indican que el microcrédito tiene un valor real, pero no es una herramienta milagrosa de lucha contra la pobreza y tampoco del desarrollo. ¿Qué pasa cuando se implementa en zonas especialmente desfavorecidas? Tres proyectos emprendidos en Marruecos desde 2006 hasta 2011, basados en parte en esta herramienta de financiación, ofrecen la oportunidad de estudiar su pertinencia. Apareció que en estos experimentos el microcrédito no é sido la forma ideal de llegar a los más pobres, con rentas irregulares. Además, la pequeña talla del territorio fue une limitación suplementaria para el éxito de los programas de microcrédito. |
