| Summary, etc. | Cet article explore la pertinence de la médiation psychocorporelle que permet l’intervention socioesthétique auprès des personnes sans abri, notamment au regard de leurs spécificités corporelles et identitaires.En nous appuyant sur une enquête ethnographique menée au sein d’un dispositif expérimental d’hébergement pour personnes en situation de grande marginalité (le « Village d’insertion »), nous détaillons ici les enjeux sanitaires, corporels et identitaires d’un tel type de prise en charge. La littérature scientifique et les socioesthéticiennes interrogées rendent d’ailleurs compte de l’enchevêtrement des dimensions corporelles et psychologiques que recouvre ce type de soins. Après avoir précisé les modalités de mise en œuvre des séances de socioesthétique au Village, nous nous focalisons sur les perceptions et attentes des personnes sans abri envers cette éventuelle prise en charge. Nous constatons enfin les effets de la socioesthétique sur les personnes sans abri afin de valider l’hypothèse selon laquelle les soins socioesthétiques leur sont bénéfiques (à différents niveaux et de différentes manières), tant sur le plan du rapport au corps que sur celui de l’estime de soi. |

| Summary, etc. | This article explores the relevance of the psycho-corporal mediation that interventions based on social aesthetics allow when working with the homeless, particularly regarding the specific nature of their identities and bodies. Based on an ethnographic survey conducted in an experimental shelter for extremely marginalized people (named the “Integration Village”), we detail the health, body, and identity issues related to this type of care. The scientific literature and the social aestheticians we interviewed also indicate that the bodily and psychological dimensions of this type of treatment are closely intertwined. After specifying the modalities for the implementation of social aesthetics sessions in the Village, we focus on the perceptions and expectations of homeless patients toward this potential care approach. Finally, we observe the effects of a social aesthetics-based approach on homeless individuals in order to test the hypothesis that socio-aesthetic care is beneficial to them (at different levels and in different ways), both in terms of their relationship with their bodies and their self-esteem. |
