| Summary, etc. | Se basant sur le modèle de l’amélioration et ses trois questions (Que tentons-nous d’accomplir ? Comment saurons-nous si un changement est bien une amélioration ? Quel[s] changement[s] pouvons-nous opérer pour obtenir une amélioration ?), la Plateforme pour l’amélioration continue de la qualité des soins et de la sécurité des patients (Paqs) a accompagné, entre décembre 2020 et mai 2022, les équipes de deux établissements pour personnes âgées belges dans l’application de ce modèle et l’utilisation du run chart. La Séniorie de Longtain et la Résidence Bois du Manil ont ainsi pu suivre dans le temps le nombre de chutes mensuel, mettre en place des actions d’amélioration et observer une diminution statistiquement significative de respectivement 31% et 60%. |

| Summary, etc. | Based on the model of improvement and its three questions: What are we trying to accomplish? How will we know whether a change is an improvement? What change(s) can we make that will result in improvement?, the Paqs helped teams from two Belgian nursing homes in the application of this model and the use of the run chart between December 2020 and May 2022. The Seniorie de Longtain and the Bois du Manil residence were thus able to record the number of monthly falls over time, implement improvement actions and observe a statistically significant decrease of 31% and 60% respectively. |
