| Summary, etc. | Cet article vise à comprendre le rôle et la place tenus par les « gilets bleus », à savoir les services civiques engagés par l’institution pour intermédier la relation administrative. Pour ce faire, il se fonde sur une enquête ethnographique menée entre octobre 2019 et février 2020, qui a été réalisée dans l’agence Pôle emploi d’un quartier prioritaire de la ville d’une grande métropole française. Disposant d’une faible reconnaissance matérielle et symbolique, les gilets bleus sont amenés à composer avec des normes institutionnelles contradictoires pour accompagner les chômeurs dans la réalisation de leurs démarches administratives. L’analyse des interactions devant l’écran en libre accès du guichet permet de faire apparaître certaines transformations des politiques sociales à l’œuvre dans la mise en place de la dématérialisation des services publics. |

| Summary, etc. | This article aims to understand the role and position “gilets bleus” (blue vests) hold, that is to say, civic services enlisted to intermediate administrative relations. For this purpose, it is based on ethnographic observation from October 2019 to February 2020, in a French job centre (Pôle emploi), located in a poor area of a large French city. Dealing with low material and symbolic recognition, gilets bleus must cope with conflicting norms to help unemployed users access their rights. In the age of dematerialisation, the analysis of interactions on the free access digital desk reveals some transformations in social policies. |
