La première interrogation renvoie largement à des questions épistémologiques et méthodologiques. Y répondre implique de mettre à jour le contexte qui a prévalu à l’apparition et au développement des problématiques de flexibilisation du travail, mais aussi de construire des concepts susceptibles de faciliter la théorisation donc la compréhension de ce phénomène.Le texte propose à la fois d’exposer les préceptes d’une approche scientifique de la flexibilisation du travail et d’insérer l’ensemble des contributions présentées dans ce cahier spécial de la ROR dans un schéma général interprétatif de la flexibilisation du travail, des mécanismes qu’elle implique et des incidences qu’elle pourrait avoir sur le fonctionnement des entreprises et sur le modèle économique global. |

The first question refers broadly to epistemological and methodological issues. Answer it involves updating the context that prevailed at the onset and the development issues of work flexibility but also building models that may facilitate the theorizing and therefore understanding this phenomenon.The text offers both exposing the precepts of a scientific approach of work flexibility and presenting all the papers presented in this special issue of the ROR in a general interpretive approach of work flexibility, mechanisms it entails and the impact it could have on the functioning of enterprises and the overall economic model. |
