| Summary, etc. | Faire œuvre scientifique : telle est la profession de foi de la critique littéraire dite positiviste de la seconde moitié du xixe siècle. Par la récupération de concepts, l’emprunt d’outils et l’imitation de méthodes scientifiques, toute une rhétorique épistémique se met en place et veille à faire de la critique littéraire un discours producteur de savoirs. En adoptant une démarche épistémocritique, nous voudrions considérer les enjeux profonds de ce dialogisme scientifico-littéraire dans le façonnement d’une idée de littérature. L’esquisse d’une archéologie de la critique littéraire moderne, qui mettrait la critique du second xixe siècle en regard de la critique informatiquement assistée actuelle, nous invite en effet à reconsidérer l’usage des savoirs dans un discours littéraire qui ne cesse de s’inscrire dans la connaissance du vivant et de l’homme. |

| Summary, etc. | Doing science : this is the manifesto of the literary criticism called positivist during the second half of the 19th century. Through the borrowing of concepts and tools and the imitation of scientific methods, an epistemic rhetoric is set up and ensures that literary criticism becomes a discourse that produces knowledge. By adopting an epistemocritical approach, we would like to consider the profound issues of this scientific-literary dialogue in the building of a new idea of literature. The sketch of an archaeology of modern literary criticism, which would put the criticism of the second half of the 19th century in comparison with the current computer-assisted criticism, invites us to reconsider the use of knowledge in a literary discourse that constantly fits in the knowledge of the living and the human beings. |
