| Summary, etc. | Les fragments de Brecht ne sont pas des fragments traditionnels, ils ne sont pas davantage des fragments au sens postmoderne ; ils deviennent « fragments » dans le geste de « l’homme qui pense en marchant et selon la vérité de la marche » (Blanchot). La grande période d’expérimentation idéologique et dramatique de la deuxième moitié des années 1920 – entre le choc de la « grande ville » et la montée du nazisme – n’est pas par hasard une grande période de fragments. On démontrera leur intérêt pour la compréhension de l’œuvre achevée sur l’exemple du fragment de « Lehrstück », Der böse Baal der Asoziale ( Le Méchant Baal, l’asocial ). |

| Summary, etc. | Der böse Baal der Asoziale : fragment, didactic play and epic theater in Brecht Brecht’s fragments are neither traditional fragments nor fragments in the post-modern sense: they are the work of “the man who thinks while he walks and according to the truth of the walk” (Blanchot). It is not fortuitous that the great period of ideological and dramatic experiment in the second half of the 1920s – between the shock of the “big city” and the rise of Nazism – is a great period for fragments. We will show their importance for understanding Brecht’s literary production as a whole through a reading of the fragment of the didactic play Der böse Baal der Asoziale. |
