| Summary, etc. | B.R. Ambedkar constitue un point de fuite singulier à l’intérieur des lettres indiennes, elles-mêmes précieuses pour leurs effets centrifuges sur la pensée de « la littérature ». Habituellement étudié par les sciences sociales comme leader des Intouchables et figure majeure de l’histoire de l’Indépendance, il sera ici abordé par une poétique : comme générateur de la prise de parole dalit, il fait apparaître des perspectives dans l’histoire discursive du sous-continent qui dénaturalisent les césures européennes entre lettres et sciences humaines et sociales. |

| Summary, etc. | B.R. Ambedkar constitutes a singular test case in Indian letters, in themselves invaluable for their capacity to diffract and denaturalize the idea of “literature”. Usually studied from the angle of social sciences, as leader of the Untouchables and key figure of the history of Independence, he will be considered here in the perspective of poetics: as originator of the dalit voice, his intervention generates alternative views of the discursive history of the sub-continent which also disarticulate the European separation between social sciences and the Humanities. |
