| Summary, etc. | Kafka adopte une attitude subversive à l’égard de Goethe, perçu comme le modèle du classicisme allemand. Son entreprise romanesque est conçue à chaque étape comme une parodie contestataire du genre germanique et goethéen par excellence : le roman de formation ( Bildungsroman). Analyser le premier roman : Le Disparu ( Der Verschollene) sous cet angle précis permet en même temps de comprendre les convictions profondes de Kafka. En l’absence de figures bienveillantes, de lieux appropriables et d’un chemin praticable, le protagoniste, incapable d’intégrer la communauté et d’acquérir une personnalité mature, ne peut réussir son existence. |

| Summary, etc. | Kafka adopts a subversive attitude towards Goethe, perceived as the model of german classicism. His novelistic undertaking is conceived at each stage as a contesting parody of the German and Goethean literary genre par excellence: the Bildungsroman. To analyse the first novel: The Man who Disappeared ( Der Verschollene) under this precise angle, allows at the same time to understand the Kafka’s deep convictions. In the absence of benevolent figures, of places that can be appropriated and of a practicable way, the protagonist, incompetent to integrate the community and to acquire a mature personality, can’t make a success of his existence. |
