La fin du manuscrit décrit la cargaison d’une coque chargée d’épices, que 33 négociants occitans rapportèrent de Chypre le 17 novembre 1358. Une présentation liminaire met en exergue la façon de procéder de l’administration française, avant de décrire les produits coloniaux chargés sur la Cigala. Il s’ensuit une analyse du chargement de chaque marchand, avant une comparaison avec les produits importés en Catalogne à la même époque. La cargaison globale du navire atteint les 910 969 besants blancs de Chypre. |

| Summary, etc. | The present article studies a customs register from the port of Aigues-Mortes from the years 1357–1358. The end of the manuscript describes the cargo of a hull loaded with spices, which 33 Occitan traders brought back from Cyprus on November 17, 1358. An introductory presentation highlights the French administration’s approach, before describing the colonial products loaded on the Cigala. This is followed by an analysis of each merchant’s load, before a comparison with products imported into Catalonia at the same time. The ship’s total cargo amounted to 910,969 Cypriot white bezants. |
