| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose une généalogie de la trajectoire du concept d’ « Éthique des affaires » dans les sciences de gestion françaises. Partant du constat d’un important décalage temporel – et conceptuel – entre la business ethics anglo-américaine et sa version européenne, nous analysons, avec une approche historique, les causes de ces différences. Nous retraçons dans un premier temps son émergence, avant de nous interroger sur les causes et les conséquences de son déclin dans les sphères pédagogique, professionnelle et académique. Nous conclurons sur les questions que pose la disparition relative de l’éthique des affaires dans la recherche en sciences de gestion au profit du thème de la responsabilité sociale de l’entreprise. |

| Summary, etc. | This article traces the genealogy of the concept of “Ethique des affaires” in the French management field. Based on the observation of a temporal and conceptual gap between the Anglo-Saxon version of “Business ethics” and its European counterpart, this paper aims at analyzing, with an historical perspective, the causes of these differences. We first retrace the emergence of the concept of “Ethique des affaires”. We then, examine the causes and consequences of its decline in the pedagogical, professional and academic spheres. Finally, as a conclusion, we question the disappearance of the concept of “Ethique des affaires” and link it to the rise of another concept: corporate social responsibility. |
