| Summary, etc. | RésuméSe référant à des recherches et des actions-recherches menées depuis de nombreuses années auprès de descendants de tortionnaires nazis et de survivants de l’Holocauste, l’auteur, co-fondateur de PRIME (Institut de recherche sur la paix au Moyen-Orient), analyse les processus psychologiques qui alimentent et perpétuent, de génération en génération, des conflits inter-communautaires, et plus particulièrement le conflit israélo-palestinien. Différentes actions menées dans cette perspective, illustrent la façon dont il est possible de faire évoluer ces conflits, par le dialogue et par la levée du silence sur des traumatismes passés, et la déconstruction d’identités monolithiques fondées sur la négation de l’Autre et la division du monde entre bons et méchants, victimes et bourreaux. |

| Summary, etc. | A psychosociological perspective of the Israeli-Palestinian conflictWith references to research and action-research carried out over many years involving descendents of Nazi torturers and survivors of the Holocaust, the author, co-founder of PRIME (Peace Research Institute for the Middle East), analyses the psychological processes that feed and perpetuate, from generation to generation, inter-community conflicts and more particularly the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Various actions carried out in this perspective illustrate the way in which it is possible to make these conflicts evolve, by dialogue and by lifting the silence on past trauma, and the deconstruction of monolithic identities founded on the negation of the other and the division of the world into good and bad, victims and tormenters. |
