Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article situe les pratiques de coaching en entreprise dans des processus de régulation sociale qui sollicitent de plus en plus l’individu et sa personnalité, instrumentalisée en termes de compétence. Sur la base d’une enquête auprès des sociétés du CAC 40 et d’un cas tiré de notre pratique, nous avons mis en évidence les finalités du coaching prescrit, orientées à la fois vers le contrôle social et la médiation entre l’individu et l’organisation. Les coachs peuvent cependant, en assumant ces éléments de réalité, ne pas renoncer aux objectifs humains, voire humanistes de leurs pratiques. |

Summary, etc. | This article situates the practice of coaching within companies in the processes of social regulation, which solicit the individual and personality more and more, exploited in terms of competence. Based on a survey concerning companies from CAC 40 as well as a case taken from our practice, we have put forward the aims of the recommended coaching, directed towards the social control and the mediation between the individual and the organisation. The coaches can however, in assuming these reality elements, not renounce the human objectives, indeed humanist aspects of their practices. |
