Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article traite de l’apprentissage du leadership, tout particulièrement en formation initiale. Ce qui a longtemps été considéré comme impossible par le monde éducatif traditionnel. Il s’agit pourtant d’un enjeu très important vu les carences de leadership des managers « fabriqués » par le système éducatif français en management qui produit essentiellement des profils de gestionnaires. L’expérience originale, efficace et très innovante de Team Academy en Finlande montre bien que l’on peut développer des compétences de leadership dès la formation initiale à condition d’avoir une approche éducative totalement différente des approches classiques fondée notamment sur une logique d’apprentissage en équipe coachée selon une méthode spécifique et la réalisation de travaux portant exclusivement sur de vrais problèmes d’entreprise. Il y a des leçons particulièrement intéressantes à tirer de cette expérience pour innover et améliorer le système éducatif spécialisé dans ce domaine. |

Summary, etc. | Team academyThis article deals with the issue of leadership learning, especially with young and unexperienced students. This has been often considered as impossible by the mainstream French management education system, despite the obvious lack of leadership competences of most students coming out of universities and grandes écoles who have a more traditional manager profile than a leader one. The innovative and very efficient Finnish Team Academy experience shows that leadership competencies can very well be developed with young students, but with a quite different educational approach based on team learning, coaching and working exclusively on real business and enterprises issues. Many intersting lessons could be drawn from this very interesting experience to improve the mainstream French management education system. |
