520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Many consular, private and institutional organizations undertake various devices for the development of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in SMEs. The aim of this article is to explore award’s impact on commitment to CSR and to understand the influence of such a device on the CSR behavior of SMEs, by using a qualitative exploratory study of a Regional Award. From the literature, grid-based analysis of the opposition between two approaches to CSR, described as autonomous versus heteronomous, helps to qualify this impact. Several effects are identified : a learning effect arising from the application stage (awareness, didactic effect, statement) and a leverage effect resulting from the trophy (facilitator of stakeholder relations and lock-in effect). The combination of these effects and their scope, lead to the identification of three CSR trajectories for these SMEs winners, and suggest some new assumptions. |
