| Summary, etc. | Cet article vise à présenter les enjeux de la Business Intelligence ( BI), discipline en vogue depuis la fin du XXe siècle. Celle-ci désigne l’ensemble des technologies de collecte, de centralisation et de traitement de données visant à assister les décideurs en entreprise dans leurs prises de décisions stratégiques. Dans le cadre du projet « Jeunes pousses » de la R2IE, le travail présenté ici constitue la synthèse du mémoire de fin d’études de l’auteur. S’interrogeant sur la place des outils de Business Intelligence dans le secteur des études et de la communication, ce travail exploratoire compile en premier lieu l’état de l’art sur le sujet de l’informatique décisionnelle. Un premier axe théorique revient ainsi sur l’histoire de la BI, son fonctionnement global et ses concepts clés. Un second axe viendra illustrer l’introduction de ces technologies appliquées au secteur de la communication à l’aide un cas concret au sein d’un institut de conseil. L’analyse des freins rencontrés est alors exposée. |

| Summary, etc. | This article aims to present the challenges of Business Intelligence (BI), a popular discipline since the end of the 20th century. It refers to all the technologies for collecting, centralizing and processing data to assist decision-makers in their strategic decisions. The work presented here is a synthesis of the author's final thesis as part of the R2IE 's « Jeunes pousses » project. This exploratory work focuses on the place of BI tools in the research and communication sector, and first compiles the historiography of the subject of Business Intelligence. A first theoretical axis goes back over the history of BI, its global functioning and its key concepts. A second axis will illustrate the introduction of these technologies applied to the communication sector with the help of a concrete case within a consulting institute. The analysis of the obstacles encountered is then presented. |
