| Summary, etc. | During the second half of the 19th century, french jurisprudence established quality standards applicable to the profession of commercial information agent. For treatment this phenomenon, this study describes the development of commercial intelligence agencies, the administration, organization and methods of these agencies, and the general principles of jurisprudence and the legal reasoning held by french judges. The french jurisprudence contributes to the education of French entrepreneurs; it teaches them to find out before making an important decision. This present study is extracted from a doctoral thesis defended at the university of Artois, the title of which was: The creation of the National foreign trade office (1883-1898): mastery of international competitive information and french power strategy. |

| Summary, etc. | Au cours de la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle, la jurisprudence française dégage des normes de qualité applicables au métier d’agent commercial de renseignements commerciaux. Pour traiter ce phénomène, la présente étude décrit le développement des agences commerciales de renseignements commerciaux, l’administration, l’organisation et les méthodes de ces agences, et les principes généraux de la jurisprudence et les raisonnements juridiques tenus par les juges français. La jurisprudence française contribue à l’éducation des entrepreneurs français ; elle leur apprend à se renseigner avant de prendre une décision importante. Cette présente étude est extraite d’une thèse de doctorat soutenue à l’université d’Artois, dont le titre a été : La création de l’Office national du commerce extérieur (1883-1898) : maîtrise de l’information compétitive internationale et stratégie française de puissance. |
