| Summary, etc. | L’acquisition des signaux faibles, concept de base de l’intelligence économique, est délicate à mettre en œuvre. Nous montrons cette difficulté à travers un cas, celui d’un instrument financier dénommé American Depositary Receipt, unsponsored. Nous présentons les caractéristiques de cet instrument et ces effets nocifs puis nous analysons le rôle des signaux faibles dans ce contexte. Nous montrons que les signaux faibles rassemblés n’ont pas permis de mettre en échec les effets négatifs de cet instrument. Nous mettrons en évidence les biais cognitifs et organisationnels qui ont conduit à l’absence de réaction des décideurs. Nous montrons enfin qu’il convient de prendre en compte ces biais dans une optique d’intelligence économique. |

| Summary, etc. | The difficulties of understanding weak signals in the field of the finance : The case of unsponsored ADRThe acquisition of the weak signals, the basic concept of the business intelligence, is strongly delicate to implement. We show this difficulty through a case, that of a called financial instrument American Depositary Receipt, unsponsored. We present the characteristics of this instrument and these harmful effects then we analyze the role of the weak signals in this context. We show that the collected weak signals have failed to defeat the negative effects of this instrument. We shall put in evidence the cognitive and organizational bias which drove to the absence of reaction of the decision-makers. We show finally that it is advisable to take into account these ways in a view of business intelligence. |
