| Summary, etc. | Une analyse fine des processus de gestion des chèques par un centre de CCP (création, modification, transformation de comptes, incidents de paiement, réclamations téléphoniques, etc.) étayée par une explicitation des gammes opératoires et une analyse des demandes a permis une simulation très réaliste du fonctionnement d’un centre. Cette simulation a servi de base à une réflexion sur la construction d’un tableau de bord, à déterminer des grilles de lecture des indicateurs tenant compte de l’impact de l’aléatoire sur le fonctionnement du système et à amorcer une réflexion sur la détermination rationnelle d’un certain nombre de générateurs de coûts, en vue d’une mise au point d’une réflexion prospective sur l’intérêt et les problèmes posés par une comptabilité de gestion par activité. |

| Summary, etc. | The contribution of simulation to the conception and interpretation of operating reports and management accountingA detailed analysis of cheque processing in a bank back office (establishment, modification and processing of accounts, payment defaults, telephone claims, etc.), supported by specification of operating ranges and demand analysis, has allowed a highly realistic simulation of the functioning of a processing centre. This simulation has been used for the design of operating reports and to determine reading gride for indicators, having regard to the incidence of random data on the working of the system. It has also stimulated consideration of the rational determination of a certain number of cost generators, as a way to examine the opportunities ans limits of activity-based management accounting. |
