Summary, etc. RésuméL’article prend appui sur deux recherches socio-cliniques en milieu éducatif menées entre 2005 et 2009 en Île de France et en Picardie (France). La première porte sur la coopération entre parents et enseignants à l’école primaire et la seconde sur les interventions d’une association d’éducation populaire dans les dispositifs d’appui à la parentalité. Le cadre politique est pris en compte, notamment à travers les rapports et circulaires produits par les ministères de l’Éducation nationale et des Affaires sociales. L’auteur avance que les dispositifs de coopération entre parents et enseignants, comme ceux d’appui à la parentalité, sont à analyser comme des technologies agissant sur l’implication des parents dans les institutions.

Summary, etc. “Technical arrangements” for involving parents in educational institutionsThe article is based on two socio-clinical researches in the educative field which took place between 2005 and 2009 in Ile de France and Picardie (France). The first one is about cooperation between parents and teachers in primary school and the second one about the interventions of a popular education organization supporting of parenting practices. The political context is taken into account, especially through reports and circulars made by Ministries of national education and of social affairs. The author suggests that creating structures for cooperation between parents and teachers such as those supporting parenthood, have to be analysed as methodologies (or “technical arrangements”) acting on the involvement of parents in institutions.
