| Summary, etc. | Basé sur l’ethnographie d’un mouvement de défense de la cause animale en France favorable à l’abolition de l’élevage à vocation alimentaire, cet article décrit les stratégies et iconographies militantes déployées à l’occasion de la grippe aviaire et plus largement lors des manifestations de défense des animaux d’élevage. Les dispositifs qui mettent en scène les corps animaux et humains permettent d’analyser les jeux d’identification et les registres émotionnels mis en œuvre par les militants. Sont ainsi éclairés un ensemble de relations perçues et rêvées entre humains et animaux, qui participe d’un remodelage cognitif et sentimental de nos rapports aux autres vivants. |

| Summary, etc. | Based on the ethnography of the animal rights activists in favour of the abolition of meat production in France, this paper describes the strategies and the militant iconographies displayed on the occasion of the bird flu crisis and more widely during the demonstrations for animal protection. The scenography staging animal and human bodies allows to analyze the ways it operates identification and implements emotional registers. The article enlightens a set of relations perceived and dreamed between human and animal, partipating in the cognitive and sentimental reshaping of our connection with other living beings. |
