| Summary, etc. | RésuméDans cet article, on propose d’appliquer le concept freudien d’inquiétante étrangeté au rapport que le sujet institue à son corps malade. La maladie est un moment où le corps cesse de nous être familier ; d’un « chez-soi » il nous devient étranger, faisant résonner en nous des angoisses qui trouvent leur modèle dans nos peurs infantiles. Ce sentiment peut prendre des formes diverses et s’appliquer non simplement à la maladie mais encore à la guérison du sujet. Sa prise en charge et sa compréhension sont importantes si l’on veut permettre au patient de lui donner un sens positif, de sorte qu’il s’approprie finalement son image nouvelle. |

| Summary, etc. | In this paper, we suggest using the Freudian concept of « Unheimliche » to describe the way the patient deals with his sick body. Illness is a moment when the body no longer seems familiar to oneself, from a place one feels « at home » it becomes a place one feels like a stranger. In illness resound some echoes of fears that find their model in infantile fears. This feeling can wear different forms and concerns not only illness but the recovery of the patient as well. It is important to take care of it and to understand it if we want the patient to give it a positive meaning, so that he eventually adapt himself to the new image of his self. |
