| Summary, etc. | Des recherches de terrain furent entreprises en pays peul et landouma dans le nord de la Guinée maritime entre 2003 et 2005, en vue d’étudier les stratégies territoriales et alimentaires de divers groupes de chimpanzés face à l’anthropisation des milieux. L’enquête révéla progressivement l’existence de conflits fonciers latents entre l’organisation AGIR (UE) et les riverains d’aires protégées mises en place sous sa houlette. Ces conflits sont analysés sous l’angle du contexte social de leur découverte, ce qui permet simultanément d’en retracer la genèse et les causes. L’étude de l’intrusion d’AGIR dans les dynamiques foncières locales, prise ici comme un élément du système conservationniste international, révèle quelques implications politiques inavouées des acteurs occidentaux de la conservation de la nature. |

| Summary, etc. | Fieldwork was conducted in Fula and Landuma country in northern maritime Guinea between 2003 and 2005, in order to uncover territorial and feeding strategies of several chimpanzee groups facing humaninduced environmental change. The study gradually revealed latent land tenure conflicts opposing AGIR, a European Union funded project, and the surrounding populations of its protected areas. These conflicts are analyzed by focusing on the social context of their discovery, which simultaneously allows to unravel their genesis and their causes. The study of the intrusion into local land tenure dynamics of AGIR, considerered here as an element of the international conservation system, points out a few unspoken political implications of western nature conservation actors. |
